There are quite a few adrenaline junkies on social media. They take people’s breath away with the craziest pictures and videos. On the one hand, they are great heroes for some. However, on the other hand, others consider them just as tired of life.

One of the most eye-catching Extreme Content Creators is Angela Nikolau. With her pictures, the courageous gorgeous impresses some and frightens others.

However, like Angela, Extreme Creators don’t care what people think of them. Because they don’t climb the tops of skyscrapers or jump along their facades – ll without a net and false bottom – for others.

The enormous risk and the real danger are the basis for their daring actions. For these people, that dangerous action is a personal fulfillment, a passion, an addiction, and a zest for life. Only those who now and then cheekily look death in the eye can really enjoy their lives.

With FALL off to dizzy heights

This is also the way of life of the two extreme athletes, Becky Connor and Shiloh Hunter, in the film Fall. They climb the steepest cliffs and think they have everything under control. Everything is going well until one day when a terrible accident changes both of their lives drastically. then cheekily look death in the eye can really enjoy their lives.

Sensitive Becky can’t cope with what’s happening. Thus, alcohol and pills become her constant companions. However, the tough Shiloh doesn’t want to accept that.

So she persuades her friend to go on a crazy mission. Together with her, she wants to climb the decommissioned 2,000-foot (610 m) B67 TV tower in the desert. But the goal is not only to reach the top but also to free oneself from the past.

Becky reluctantly accompanies her friend on the proverbial trip to hell. Because, although it doesn’t go to the underworld but in exactly the opposite direction, the way back is cut off for the girls after they have reached the top. And so, what started out as a fun adventure, turns into a tough fight for survival at 600 meters above sea level.

THE FALL ON BLU-RAY

Of course, with a production cost of $3 million, Fall is a low-budget film. But that’s just as well. Because in that way, director Scott Mann was fully concentrated on the breathtaking atmosphere, the story, and the two leading actresses.

Becky Connor, a.k.a. Grace Caroline Currey

Grace Caroline Currey, who we know from “Shazam!”, shines as a broken young woman who cannot get over the loss of a loved one. As Becky Connor, she touches us and shares her character’s fears with us. When her legs tremble with fear, ours do the same – as long as you immerse yourself in the film.

Shiloh Hunter a.k.a. Virginia Gardner

Shiloh is the complete opposite of Becky. Looking for followers, she shows herself as sexy and crazy on social media. Virginia Gardner plays Shiloh very convincingly and, despite her flaws, very endearingly.

Of course, we know that Shiloh’s idea doesn’t bode well for Becky. But honestly, could you deny the likable bundle of energy a wish? Virginia Gardner has already acted in some larger productions such as Law & Order or Marvel’s Runaways. In Fall, she really shows her talent, alongside Grace Currey and directed by Scott Mann.

Fall immediately casts a spell over us. From the first scene, we fall deep into the story and, especially, the pictures. Especially the latter are so authentic that it just takes our breath away. Even those, who aren’t afraid of heights, will feel a lump in their throats. Moreover, it could happen that you’ll get the feeling of losing your feet in some of the dizzying tower scenes.

With Fall, Scott Mann shows what is possible with a small budget. Only two very strong and talented actresses draw us deep into a story that stays gripping for every 107 minutes. Fall is a breathtaking survival thriller that cheekily shows the finger to many of the great horror flicks. Because one thing is clear, more thrill than can be experienced in Fall isn’t actually possible.
