The world is tentatively blooming again. And, of course, we want to go out to enjoy the summer. Moreover, we want to travel to see the world. But we must remember how familiar things actually work. Now, as well as during the past few months, we had to learn and relearn many things. Certainly, one of them was to answer the question of how to keep a certain distance yet stay fit and in shape as well. However, the V-GUIDES Jordin and Caro found different ways to train the body – and mind – while having fun and meeting old friends as well as new people, even during these strange times. Thereby (during their research…), they experienced a new way of flexibility. It comes with tools that offer the possibility to put a well-equipped gym in your bag. By doing so, you will have it with you always, wherever you go. So, let’s learn more about this special fitness equipment and, thus, the training bands of Flexvit.
FLEXVIT IN BRIEF
Flexvit is the creator of the leading, innovative resistance band. It was developed in close collaboration with athletes and physical therapists.
The goal was and still is to produce a simple strap that is gentle on the joints, encompasses all dimensions of athletic movement, and is hygienic and tear-resistant.
These are currently the bands of choice of the German national football team and Olympic champions from countries like the USA, China, South Africa, and Norway. Of course, these references can’t guarantee getting you a gold medal. However, this isn’t even the aim. Flexvit’s goal is to guarantee a solid workout.
THE FLEXVIT TRAINING BANDS
For those new to the concept of a resistance fitness band: they are generally an elastic strap or band that you wrap around your body to increase the resistance whilst doing an exercise.
For example, if you wanted to work your legs, you simply tie the strap around your lower thighs and perform the exercise, enjoying the added burn. By doing so, you can train all parts of your legs, beginning from the bottom to the top. The same with your arms.
NOT ONLY EYE-CATCHERS: THE COLORS
Of course, the more athletically gifted amongst our V-GUIDES jumped at the chance to give the Flexvit bands a shot, with some interesting results.
Both are kickboxers, and, thus, they are sportive over the average. But after being restricted in their general freedom of movement and closed gyms for more than one year, even they recognized a lack of fitness.
Therefore, Jordin visited Berlin’s Tiergarten with a couple of Flexvit’s bands. Immediately, she caused a stir. But not only she is a gorgeous woman, but also the bands are real eye-catchers.
They come in a range of colors. But, even if these colors appear very stylish, there is actually no fashion aspect behind them. Rather, they represent the level of resistance of the Flexvit bands.
So, you can start with the yellow or orange ones, to warm up. Then, you can continue with the red or blue, which require more power. Alternatively, you can combine them, for example, to have more resistance at your upper legs. For the lower legs you could use a bit less resistance.
THE PERSONAL COACHES
The great thing about the Flexvit bands is, that you really can train every single muscle. Moreover, the bands train your deep muscles. Thus, within 30 minutes, you will experience a training effect comparable with hours of exercise in an ordinary gym.
It looks so easy. However, both, Jordin and Caro, felt the training’s effect instantly. But, because there are so many ways to use the Flexvit bands, Caro asked for a more personalized and intimate experience.
She had the pleasure to enjoy training with Eileen Gallasch, one of Flexvit’s charming personal coaches. While putting through her paces, Caro showed that she is a truly powerful woman. Besides, typically Berlin, she decided to make the workout even more challenging, by wearing Doc Martens.
Eileen showed Caro that the Flexvit bands can be used to train flexibility, strength, coordination, cardio, and even speed.
Together, they performed a series of exercises ranging from tough pull-ups and lunges to creative movements like punches – yes, even boxers can use them – and then some aerobic stretches for yoga and flexibility. By the way, Flexvit offers a new yoga series from this spring.
Of course, any kind of sports feels good, more or less. But another crucial benefit of the Flexvit bands is that they feel really good on your skin.
There is no tugging, tearing, or rolling – problems common to other resistance bands. Caro really loves the lightweight, compact bands. Besides, she loves that they pack some serious strength and allow her to get a good workout. The next day she was only sore in all the right places.
Workouts similar to the one Caro and Eileen did, you can find on the Flexvit YouTube channel.
FLEXVIT TAKES ACCOUNT TO THE HUMAN MOVEMENT
There, you can see that Flexvit suggests a routine of 7 daily exercises. These are the essence of all human movement:
- Squats (squat)
- Lunges (lunge)
- Hinge (hip bend)
- Push (pressure movements)
- Pull (pulling movements)
- Twist (rotational movements)
Maybe some people consider it strange to see all the body’s potential whittled down to that small list. But the interesting thing is to see that the Flexvit fitness bands encompass them all.
A LOVE AFFAIR OF QUALITY
More and more pros but also amateur athletes fall in love with these bands. The first love affair with Flexvit began in 2015.
Out of dissatisfaction with other functional fitness bands on the market – uncomfortable, poorly made, unsustainable and expensive, Flexvit decided they wanted to change that and produce something of a more premium design.
After months of developmental work, the first batch was ready, with the “Made in Germany” and eco and hygiene certificates as stamps of approval.
Now, six years later, Flexvit is used by top-class sports stars, physiotherapists, athletic trainers, yogis, random people you see in the gym, Olympians, and, of course, the V-GUIDES.
FLEXVIT VS GYM
With just these bands, their bodies, and occasionally a tree, the V-GUIDES smashed a complex workout right in the middle of the park. Thus, there is no need for a gym membership or additional equipment. Anyone can use them, anywhere.
As already noted, we can and should use the current times to relearn. Thereby, we can learn the benefits of true flexibility, independence, and well-being.
Particularly, as the Flexvit sets on offer are so varied, there is something for both beginners and professionals. Moreover, sets for kids are available too. Furthermore, there are sets for more specific training regimes available.
This, coupled with the compact, portable size of the bands, makes Flexvit flexible enough to fit into anyone’s schedule, at home or on the journey. Hence, to stay fit everywhere on earth, the V-GUIDES will pack the Flexvit bands in their bags when they start the ONE WORLD DISCOVERY.
