Today, February 19, the fashion world has lost a great talent. Karl Lagerfeld passed away at the age of 85 in France.

He was not only a creative director of Chanel, Fendi and Karl Lagerfeld but also an artist, photographer and a caricaturist. The whole world is mourning his loss and people will never forget him or his talent.
Sadly, this January he missed two of Chanel shows in Paris. For the first time, people did not see him walk out at the end of the fashion show. However, he has been working hard on the new Fendi autumn/winter 2019 collection up until his death.
A BRIEF HISTORY
He tried to make a secret about his age. But it’s confirmed that Karl Lagerfeld was born on September 10th, 1933 in Hamburg, Germany.
He started his career in 1955 as an assistant to Pierre Balmain. However, Karl Lagerfeld received international fame in the 80s. At this time, he was the person behind the famous integrated ‚CC’ letters for Chanel.
Moreover, he designed outfits for Madonna’s Re-Invention Tour and Kylie Minogue’s Showgirl Tour.
Because of his long experience with top models like his muse Claudia Schiffer, Karl Lagerfeld was also a gifted photographer. He photographed Mariah Carey and managed advertising campaigns for his houses – Chanel and Fendi.
Besides the whole world, a lot of celebrities are mourning Karl Lagerfeld’s death too.

It is no doubt that today is a sad day. The world will never be the same without the head of Chanel and Fendi.
