Of course, when celebrities attend a media event, they appear in eye-catching gowns on the red carpet. Thereby, stars like Hailee Steinfeld, Alessandra Ambrosio, Sara Sampaio, Jessica Alba, or Brie Larson love one brand, which creates each season a couture collection that lets the wearer shine like true stars in the universes: RALPH & RUSSO.
THE MUSE WINNIE HARLOW
So, on November 9, supermodel Winnie Harlow was enchanting wearing Ralph & Russe couture to present the Best Latin Act award at the virtual 2020 MTV Europe Music Awards.
She wore a look from the latest Autumn-Winter 2020/2021 couture collection. Winnie stunned viewers in a black velvet gown. It featured a thigh-high slit, illusion tulle inserts and a sculped deconstructed side bow. Moreover, it was finished with crystal embellishment.
AUTUMN – WINTER 2020/ 2021 COUTURE COLLECTION
Reflecting on the far-reaching beauty of our natural world and the digitally charged future, Creative Director Tamara Ralph presents a collection infused with wonder.
Encouraging all to take refuge during this difficult time in the world of fantasy, to look beyond and to dream, this season all are invited to partake in a special experience. Ralph & Russo unveils an Autumn – Winter 2020/2021 couture collection through the lens of technology.
RALPH & RUSSO RED CARPET COUTURE FOR THE SPECIAL TIME OF LIFE
Abundant with vibrant tones of yellow-gold and sky blue, hues of lavender and fuchsia pink, the collection harkens to the natural palette of our planet, citing seven of the globe’s most unique and awe-inspiring locations, and enhancing silhouettes with intricate floral details.
From three-dimensional organza blooms to swathes of floral taffeta and tweed – each distorted, blurred like watercolors, and digitally printed – the collection defies singularity, bridging the gap between technology and the elements.
RALPH & RUSSO’S MUSE
Uniquely presented against the seven contemporary wonders of the world, this season is brought to life by an equally international individual: Ralph & Russo’s very own avatar and muse, Hauli.
Named in traditional Swahili after strength and power, Hauli is at once rooted in African origins and a reflection of womankind; of the beautiful and inspiring women bringing courage and positive change to all four corners of the world.
In combining two seemingly opposed dimensions, Tamara Ralph not only presents the brand’s first-ever digital show experience but continues to represent art and the world in its purest form; as truly knowing no bounds.
“We hope that you enjoy our digitally curated presentation and take this opportunity to thank you for your support. Whilst we take a step back from each other in person today, we look forward to holding each other even closer in the future”,
says Tamara Ralph.
