RED BULL DANCE YOUR STYLE ENTERS A NEW ROUND
The result: a unique, international one-on-one street dance competition in which the K.O. System dancers perform with different street dance styles on mainstream songs. But the audience alone decides who wins. Red Bull Dance Your Style enters a new round in 2022, with events, qualifiers, the National Final in Frankfurt & the World Final in Johannesburg.
Hip hop, locking, popping, house, voguing – there is a wide range of street dance styles, and they are all allowed at Red Bull Dance Your Style. At the qualifiers in Munich, Hamburg, and Berlin, the best dancers across the country can qualify for the national final in Frankfurt on October 22nd. Moreover, with a bit of luck, they can also compete against the winners from 33 countries in the big world final in Johannesburg in December.
Battle mode: There are no battle categories in Red Bull Dance Your Style. Anyone can compete against anyone in one-on-one. Until the start of a battle round, no one knows exactly what will happen next. Because the DJ alone decides which urban chart hit the participants will go on the floor to.
THE RED BULL DANCE YOUR STYLE FINALS
At Red Bull Dance Your Styles, all dance styles are permitted. The dancers have to get involved with the song spontaneously. Thereby, hip hop meets Britney classic or voguing meets German rap anthem. So, young, up-and-coming talents compete at Red Bull Dance Your Style. However, also OG dancers who have already performed for international stars. What connects everyone is the passion for dance. However, what makes them different is the way to express their identity and tell their own story.
The twist: Nowhere else are there greater musical and stylistic surprises. They guarantee to lure the dancers out of their comfort zone. Besides, the crowd solely chooses the dancers who bring the hottest performance on the floor. However, the spectators not only observe and celebrate the event. They are also actively part of the competition. At the end of the day, it’s not just about who has the best technique. But it’s also about who gets the audience carried away the most.
Red Bull Dance Your Style consists of a total of over 130 events in 33 countries. The international final takes place in South Africa. However, before that happens, there will be battles in Germany. First in the qualifiers and then in the national finals in Frankfurt. So, Red Bull finds out who will compete against the winners of the other countries on the international stage.
