Founded in 1924, but trendier than ever. This winter, the current situation and the “new normal” with sporty and at the same time trendy athleisure looks which suit every daily situation are reflected by the new Umbro Projects Apparel line.
THE NEW UMBRO
PROJECTS APPAREL LINE
With this Autumn/ Winter 2020 edition, Umbro reflects the roots of sport and street culture. Therefore, functional materials and bold details play a leading role.
Apparel and footwear thrive on sporty silhouettes and progressive prints. They refer to the digital culture of the current time and an instinctive attraction to nature.
The styles consist of an innovative mix of natural and synthetic materials in a richly contrasting color palette from soft to bright.
The Hero styles for men include the Terrain Polar Fleece in camouflage colors. Besides, the double utility pockets appear with a neon contrasting logo. In addition to printed oversize sweaters and Cargo pants, Shell jackets with textured printing belong to the collection’s highlights.
THE UMBRO RHIAN JUMPSUIT
Additionally, the key piece for women is the Rhian jumpsuit with a tie waist and contrasting logo pockets. Moreover, the jacket in deconstructed camouflage print complete the collection. Furthermore, the crop tops with V-neck and decorated with lace are true highlights.
The accessories round it off perfectly. Among them are camouflage and cord caps, hats in block colors and abstract camouflage.
ARCHIVE RESEARCH PROJECT FOOTWEAR LINIE BY UMBRO
Umbro is also expanding the Archive Research Project footwear line for this season with the new Greco sneaker silhouette. The Greco sneaker reinterprets traditional borrowings from the Umbro archive and combines perforated details with simple shapes and a subtle logo.
The sole is a contemporary version of the classic shell shape with a sculpted side profile. The new silhouette extends the updated classics of the Archive Research Project line with models such as Neptune, Bumpy, Runner, and Fiera – all in new earthy tones with bright highlights.
