It reflects the atmosphere of the collection by summum: a touch of retro but romantic with a tough layer, in an eclectic mix of style elements from the previous century.
High ruffle collars, long flowy dresses, soft but rugged cable sweaters, textured check woolen jackets, floral prints, and large sleeves: it’s the 70s, 80s, and 90s combined and overlapping, with a modern look and feel. Exciting, feminine, and wearable.
THE SUMMUM MOOD – AN INSIGHT INTO CAPSULES 6, 7, & 8
Summum’s Capsule no. 6 starts off understated, with natural shades of white, beige, and green. Styles such as wide trousers, knee-length wrap skirts, and tops with details on the sleeves; impressive puff sleeves, bat sleeves, balloon sleeves, as well as ruffle details and cuffs feature.
Flowy knee-length or calf-length dresses in dark floral prints are combined with loose, oversized knits made from a soft alpaca blend and masculine grandad cardigans.
Capsule no. 7 introduces warmer colors such as chocolate and hazelnut and prominent checks, including a lurex check for tops as well as trousers, and long wrap jackets with a self-tie belt. There are further details with a self-tie blouse, ruffle collar, and an elegant wrap top.
The summum capsule no. 8 continues the same theme but has a slightly softer feel due to the introduction of two shades of pink and a soft grey. Paisley print appears, and fabric qualities such as hammered silky touch polyester, brushed herringbone, refined shiny viscose, and luxurious merino wool.
