Today the group is doing a FOOD WALK through Aarhus and its surroundings. They discover something for every taste, whether savory or sweet, vegan or not. The friends also discover the HYLKEGAARD and the COLD HAND WINERY vineyard, where wine is made from Danish fruits. The girls visit the AARHUS BRYGHUS. They also visit BASSO AARHUS, MOR ANNA DELI & BAKERY, CAFÉ CASABLANCA, JULIETTE CAFE & BRASSERIE, HOFLADEN ØER GÅRDBUTIK, HØBERG Nursery and farm shop, MOLS KAFFERISTERI, just to name a few of the highlights. Delicious ice cream is feasted on at OKKELS IS.
In the afternoon we go back to the center, where the group experiences a mix of Christiania’s free-spirited mindset and Berlin’s entrepreneurial communities in the AARHUS K DISTRICT. Here you can admire the old freight railway buildings, containers, shacks, and experimental, innovative, and passionate entrepreneurs. In THE CULTURAL PRODUCTION CENTER GODSBANEN, the friends enjoy delicious food in the restaurant before they take part in a workshop and let themselves be fascinated by the great view from the roof of the unique building.
Afterward, the group will visit the attractions of the LATIN QUARTER, such as the RÅDHUS, the AARHUS DOMKIRKE, and the OVARTACI MUSEUM.
In the HORNVAREFABRIKKEN, the team finds unique Danish art and crafts produced by cow horns, jewelry, design pieces, interior design, and much more. Of course, they also explore the TOBOGGAN RUNS. It’s time for a delicious coffee at STILLERS COFFEE, where the interior is made with respect to the building’s history as the girls can still see and feel the atmosphere of the old factory.
The local friends tell the V-GUIDES that swimming in the sea is more than a trend in Denmark. So it’s off to the SEA SWIMMING COURSE, where they also wakeboard and surf together.
In the heart of Aarhus, they also find ÅBOULEVARDEN, filled with charming cafés and AARHUSIAN NIGHTLIFE. The V-GUIDES enjoy the unique scenery along the riverfront. So, they start in the cocktail bar and nightclub LOULOU, and, then, discover some of the most beautiful and attractive restaurants and nightlife settings in Denmark.
