A detour this week takes the girls to the ROSENHOLM SLOT and SLOTSPARK in HORNSLET. Here the V-GUIDES can also enter the ancient CHURCH, which can be dated back to 1310. Via the NATIONALPARK MOLS BJERGE in RØNDE, they pass the beautiful SLETTERHAGE FYR (Lighthouse) from KNEBEL to the lovely coastal town of EBELTOFT.
Here the friends fall in love with the PRETTY OLD HOUSES and learn that a lot in the village revolves around the apple (Ebel). The explorers visit the court brewery EBELTOFT GÅRDBRYGGERI, the GLASMUSEET, and its STUDIOS/WORKSHOPS. The FARVERGÅRDEN MUSEUM and the MALTFABRIK (BMA in the malt factory, museum, archive, library) are not forgotten either.
Of course, the V-GUIDES also stop at a special architectural gem, namely the 18th-century OLD TOWN HALL IN EBELTOFT and its MUSEUM. Very close to the old town, the girls also find the MUSEUM SIAMESISK SAMLING and here the old dyer’s yard. The group then admires the FREGATTENHAFEN and the FREGATTEN JYLLAND. As everywhere else, they delve further into Denmark’s history on these flying visits. On a short SAILING TOUR, the girls then discover the coastal landscape of East Jutland and continue through DJURSLAND via the MOLS BERGE NATIONAL PARK.
On their way, the adventurers explore the 100-year-old depot of the JERNBANEMUSEUM – RAILWAY MUSEUM. From impressive technology to enchanting animals, at the REE PARK SAFARI and in the SKANDINAVISK DYREPARK.
Now another park with lots of action and fun is waiting for the visitors, the DJURS SOMMERLAND. Here the happy friends also look behind the scenes of the park and learn more about its history and guest from the staff.
The MUNKHOLM ZOO is quieter and above all very cute. Here the animal-loving girls play with the calves, goats, and sheep. The city people enjoy the atmosphere and admire that many things in Denmark are locally produced. That’s why they make a stop at the organic farm KALOE OEKOLOGI GAARDBUTIK to find out more about it.
The friends also enjoy local produce at Djursland’s largest trading center, GRENAA, for example at MARIENDAL MOSTERI, where they taste the delicious cider, juice, and other delicacies that are made here.
The team admires the beautiful WINDMILL and MUSEUM BAUNHØJ MØLLE GRENAA. Then, the explorers visit the exciting exhibitions and take part in the historical activities at MUSEUM ØSTJYLLAND. After visiting the CHURCH and MARINA, the girls take a refreshing break at the BEACH.
In the KATTEGATCENTRET, the brave adventurers let themselves be surrounded by sharks and watch the seals frolic. The girls paddle in a kayak on the deepest polar sea and learn more about how you can protect the nature of the sea.
When the team is back on solid ground, they discover the SOSTRUP SLOT while walking through the CASTLE PARK. Of course, the curious girls want to know more about his story. They also visit the MARIA HJERTE CASTLE MONASTERY, where they then spend the night in one of the MONASTERY CELLS IN THE SOSTRUP SLOT CASTLE.
