Today the group splits up. For group 1, the day starts in the water. This time at AALBORG HAVNEBAD. Group 2 prefers to go on the water. After a wild ride on the RIB IT speedboats, the girls are wide awake.

Group 1 strolls leisurely along the WATERFRONT. How to discover the SPRINGEREN – MARINE EXPERIENCE CENTER, the culture, and knowledge of UTZON CENTER.

Group 2 moves along the HARBOR (Skudehavnen and LYSTBÅDEHAVN (YACHT HARBOUR)) to the western part of the city. Here they enjoy the maritime atmosphere and the view of the LIMFJORD. In the LIGHTHOUSE, they let the locals show them typical Danish delicacies.

Group 1 goes to KUNSTHAL NORD. In the old power plant with its raw, industrial look, they marvel at the experimental, contemporary art.

Group 2 explores the history of the small society of THE FJORD TOWN and VESTRE FJORDPARK. Perhaps they will also play a game of MINIGOLF here before the horse racing action in the RACING ARENA begins.

Group 1 is drawn along the STREET ART IN THE CITYPARK KAROLINELUND. Maybe they can join an event or concert here later.

Group 2 reaches THE NORTHERN CHALK PIT which was once a Cement Factory. Today, the friends enjoy the nature area with interesting plants and animals at the lime pit.

Group 1 reaches the eastern part of Aalborg and enjoys the green oasis, THE PARK ØSTRE ANLÆG. While Group 2 pays a visit to the CHURCH OF ANSGAR.

Group 1 explores the two mystical mounds, Hvilehøj and Signalhøj at the SIGNALBAKKEN (SIGNAL HILL) and marvels at the beautiful panoramic view. This is how they discover the beach of HESTESKOEN, where they go swimming and enjoy the sun.

Meanwhile, group 2 climbs the city’s tallest landmark AALBORG TOWER (55m) to enjoy the 360° view over the city and the fjord. The group then roams through the beautiful SKOVBAKKEN NATURE AREA. Besides all the nature, the girls might also discover some bats in the old beer cellar.

Group 1 can relax under the apple trees at SOHNGAARDSHOLMS PARK which was once built around the small castle SOHNGÅRDSHOLM.

In the meantime, the 2nd group has reached the KUNSTEN – MUSEUM OF MODERN ART AALBORG, where they admire the art inside and outside, which has been created here in the form of wonderful architecture and green spaces.

The 1st group, meanwhile, tries to put a few balls into the 6 holes of THE GOLF PARK if there are no senior citizens on site. Back in the center, Group 2 visits the HUSET and the GALLERI.

For the 1st group, an exploration of the VOR FRUE KIRKE (CHURCH OF OUR LADY) is on the program. They also discover the only remains of the original church building from one thousand years ago, the stone carvings in the west gable. Also, for group 2, it becomes ecclesiastical because they have the ST. MARY’S CHURCH, which is only a little over 100 years old, is one of the most beautiful churches in the whole country.

The 1st group reaches the AALBORGHUS CASTLE with its beautiful park. Here the girls visit the castle’s dungeon, the underground castmates, and, of course, the AALBORG HISTORICAL MUSEUM.

Group 2 is still on the path of faith. The girls visit the smallest cathedral in Denmark, the BUDOLFI CHURCH (Cathedral of St. Budolfi) between the old main street Algade and Gammeltorv.

Group 1 visits the GRÅBRØDRE MONASTERY, AALBORG TOWN HALL, JENS BANG’S HOUSE from 1624, and the JØRGEN OLUFSENS HOUSE also from the Renaissance.

The other group browses through the GRØNTTORVET – GREEN MARKET at FREDERIKSTORV. The girls not only nibble on the fresh fruit, vegetables, fish, cheese, and bread but, of course, they also take home some delicacies for their friends.

They, i.e. group 1, now want to get rid of some money in the late afternoon. That’s what led her to MAGASIN, where a personal shopper will show them the latest beauty and fashion trends. Group 2 is also looking for new outfits for the evening at NØRREGADE.

The two groups reunite in KILDEPARKEN and tell each other about their experiences.

After the girls had a lot of fun trying on their latest outfits in the hotel, some of them are now off to BIFFEN. They would like to see a Danish film in the independent cinema. The others also want to see an entertaining story but live on stage. Thus, the way leads them to the NORDKRAFT culture center and here to the THEATER. Maybe they will also see a show at the music venue, or do something else for their fitness in the sports center.

The friends then end the third week of their trip together in the fancy clubs and cozy bars of JOMFRU ANE GADE and in STUDENTERHUSET with new friends, who they then take to a private party.
