After refreshments at KONG VOLMER, visits to the ART GALLERY FILOSOFFEN, GALLERY GALSCHIØT, and RASMUS ART GALLERY are on the program today.

The V-GUIDES can experience the active process of how art and crafts are created in the studio of MONA VANDER CERAMICS and at DINA VEJLING – DANISH CRAFTS. The girls at INGVARD CHRISTENSEN – INTERIOR DESIGN experience how modern and at the same time traditional furnishings are created.

On a river cruise with ODENSE AAFART, and RIVER CRUISE, the girls go to the very nice restaurant SORTEBRO KRO IN THE FUNEN VILLAGE, where they have lunch.

Well fed, the journey to the FUNEN VILLAGE (DET FYNSKE LANDSBY) continues relaxed. In the open-air museum, the girls explore the 30 historic buildings from around the island. They learn that the village was created during the German occupation in 1944 and that there was a gathering place for locals to sing patriotic songs. The museum staff, dressed in traditional garb, explains to the V-GUIDES that the aim of the museum is to recreate the Hans Christian Andersen era. Together, the staff and the V-GUIDES revive the everyday life of the ancestors, for example rearing animals, hammering away in workshops, or brewing beer.

After a detour to the DREYER’S ORGANIC FARM SHOP, it’s back to the center. Because, of course, animal lovers also want to go to the ZOO. Here, the friendly locals allow the girls to take a look behind the scenes and to take part in the feedings or presentations.

In the MICROBREWERY FLAKHAVEN and the ANARKIST – BEER AND FOOD LAB, the girls learn how beer is brewed in Odense today. Of course, it then goes to one of the beer bars such as the cozy BEER CELLAR, CARLSENS KVARTER – BEER BAR, and CHRISTIAN 4TH – BEER SPECIALISTS. However, so that they don’t get drunk, the V-GUIDES then try the delicacies of the DANISH BREAD STUDIO.

The V-GUIDES in the GALLERI GALSCHIØT find out that JENS GALSCHIØT is one of Denmark’s most famous artists. They learn that the works of sculptors and conceptual artists can be seen in cities around the world. The girls work their way through the SCULPTURE GARDEN and a spacious INDOOR ART GALLERY that is presenting his work.

The girls find out at the end of the day that Odense also has the largest RAILWAY MUSEUM in Scandinavia. The V-GUIDES don’t have to be technical experts to admire the 50 locomotives and carriages that can be found here. Certainly, during their exploration, they also discover E CLASS ENGINE that pulled King Frederick IX’s funeral train in 1972 and Denmark’s oldest locomotive: THE H40 FROM 1869. Before it gets dark, the girls visit the nearby OLD ODENSE TRAIN STATION.

In MAGASIN ODENSE, the pretty V-GUIDES are looking for new outfits for the evening and some new sports equipment and sexy bikinis for the next day. Another action-packed day comes to an end. So it’s off to CAFÉ SKT. GERTRUD, where the V-GUIDES enjoy the Parisian flair, superb drinks, and music.
