After breakfast, the V-GUIDES travel on to Sydney. Oh no, of course, it goes to MIDDELFART. But what do the Australian metropolis and this place that connects Fyn with Jutland have in common? The BRIDGEWALKING. On the metal struts of the OLD LITTLE BELT BRIDGE, the adventurers can not only prove their courage but also view Fyn from a very special perspective. After this test of courage, they go to the DANISH CERAMIC MUSEUM, where the girls discover the complete collection and history of Royal Copenhagen porcelain.

After an extensive stop at the HOLCKENHAVN SLOT, and the castles HINDEMAE GODS and JUELSBERG, the path leads to the east coast to NYBORG and here deep into the HISTORY of the country.

One of them is that of JACOB AND HELLE, who invited the V-GUIDES to the STOKKEBYE family’s winery. They not only learn a lot about their family history and the wine that is pressed here. No, of course, the girls also help diligently. Back in the city, the friends explore a beautiful old 17th-century merchant’s house that is now the city’s cultural history museum, the BORGMESTERGÅRDEN. Nearby, the girls stroll down Nyborg’s most beautiful street, SLOTSGADE, from which they can see the 12th-century NYBORG SLOT enthroned in front of them.

Of course, the group also explores the old CASTLE MILL, the TOWN HALL, and the MARKETPLACE. Passing by the beautiful KALENTEGÅRDEN house, the girls decide it’s time for refreshments. After a good meal in the RESTAURANTER and some variety, while strolling through the KONGEGADE, the girls come across the GYLDENCRONES PALÆ (YELLOW PALACE) from the 17th century. The friends continue to discover the beautiful JAKOB ENCKES GÅRD, ANDERS DRAGHES GAARD, DEN ROSENVINSKE GÅRD, and the old office DRONNINGEGÅRDEN.

The architectural journey through time in NØRREGADE to RASMUS MØLLERS GÅRD and FREDERIK NIELSENS GÅRD goes a little further. The FORTRESS and LAND GATE are also explored. The QUEEN BASTEI AND THE POWDER MAGAZINE, the CROWN PRINCE BASTEI, and the local ARTS AND HANDICRAFTS are also on the program, as are many other HISTORICAL MONUMENTS and CHURCHES.

Not far from here, the V-GUIDES explore the MEDIEVAL FORTIFICATION AND “CITY WALL” as well as the former BATTLEFIELD. During their walk, they discover the VOR FRUE KIRKE (Nyborg Kirke) from 1388 and just a few meters further one of the many medieval buildings, the RECTOR’S HOUSE.

To the north, they come across the old WATER TOWER, which now houses an EXHIBITION of local artists. In the early evening, the art of brewing beer in ØRBÆK BRYGGERI and that of DISTILLERY are not forgotten either. They dine in RESTAURANT REMISEN. Maybe a bottle of good STOKKEBYE wine will be enjoyed before going to bed.
