Today’s route leads via BOGØ to the island of MØN. Here the V-GUIDES discover the 124 edge stones by GRØNJÆGER HØJ/GRØNSALEN and learn more about the legend of CHIEF GREEN HUNTER. In HÅRBØLLE the girls discover the ART OF BAKING DANISH PASTRY.

Those with a sweet tooth then eat the delicious treats comfortably on the RYTZEBÆK BEACH. Then it gets sporty because the girls have fun at MØNBOULDERS. Then they explore the island, its BEACHES, and FORESTS not only on the bike but also on the back of HORSES. This is how they arrive in STEGE.

First, the girls romp around on the fine RÅBYLILLE BEACH. Then some bargains are found in the small specialty shops, antique and second-hand shops in the cozy pedestrian street, and in the small backyards of the market town. The V-GUIDES keep an eye out for handwritten signs along the way because there is always a flea market, a trendy café, or a pop-up shop to be discovered around the corner.

Then, it’s off to THORSVANG – COLLECTOR’S MUSEUM, MØNS MUSEUM – EMPIREGAARDEN, LIZA’S GALLERY, BENT RUNE GALLERY, and the STEGE CHURCH. The MEDIEVAL GARDEN is also on the list. Just as the STEGE MØLLEPORT OG BYVOLD and the HERRING ROUTE. In STEGE, the V-GUIDES also go to the MARKET and then to the beautiful ULVSHALE BEACH with a blue flag.

The girls keep coming across parts of the long CAMØNOEN – KONGERIGETS VENLIGSTE VANDRERUTE*.

SIDE STORY

Camønoen – The 175-kilometer Camønoen hiking trail winds its way along dramatic cliffs, bird sanctuaries, and beech forests. The hiking route leads across the three islands of Møn, Nyord, and Bogø, is divided into 10 stages and offers numerous accommodation options.

This is how it goes to the small island of NYORD. With its car-free city center and pretty half-timbered houses, it is a real eye-catcher. The girls enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of the place with only 35 inhabitants, far away from the noise of the big city. It’s time to enjoy and relax. The V-GUIDES have the opportunity to do this in NOORBOHANDELEN, where there is gin made from local herbs from ISLE OF MØN SPIRITS, the famous NYORD MUSTARD, freshly made, homemade bread, and many other delicacies.

Well strengthened they go to the NYORD ENGE NATURRESERVAT and the NYORD MUSTARD MILL and CHURCH. The V-GUIDES find glass art and painting in the RUNAS & GALLERI NYORD. They discover the reserve by UNESCO, BIOSFÆRE MØN, and the LISELUND CASTLE PARK with its beautiful castle and the LISELUND LABORATORIUM.

MØN SURF then takes the adventurer across the JYDELEJET valley onto the boards and onto the water. Let’s see if the V-GUIDES can expand their surfing skills. From the surfboard, they board a ship for SAILING along the famous cliffs (CRUISE WITH THE BOAT DISCOVERY).

Since the explorers are always looking for something very special, after a trip to KLINTHOLM SLOTSPARK and SØMARKEDYSSEN, they head to KLINTHOLM HARBOR. Here, the girls visit the small RESTAURANT ND122, which has been voted Zealand’s Restaurant of the Year in the Best Value category by the Danish Restaurant Guide. The foodies savor the meal, which is made from handpicked local produce so that the food is in harmony with the surroundings.

Then they go on FOSSIL HUNTING and in the GEOCENTER MØNS KLINT they experience an exciting journey 70 million years back in time. The girls discover the GLACIER CINEMA and DINOSAURS. Of course, at the end of the day, the so-called COLD CARIBBEAN is waiting for the V-GUIDES. They will explore the impressive MØNS KLINT. Moreover, they enjoy the DARK SKY AT MØN (AND NYORD). When the night sky is without light pollution, they can marvel at millions of stars. The girls discover that alone or they join a SKY STAR SAFARI or a tour with the 120-year-old MAIL BOAT RØRET.

They spend the night in one of the special rooms at MØNS KLINT COUNTRY HOUSES. Perhaps they enjoy a soothing scented bath in the FYRHYTTEN’S outdoor bathtub, from which they have a wonderful view of the sea. Maybe two will also stay in THE LIGHTHOUSE with its panoramic view, THE VIEW, or in the LAND ROVER DRØMME.
